| The latest in the seies of Burnout titles continues the legacy in fine style. The gameplay is solid and while the traffic checking isn't to everyone's liking, overall the gameplay is better than most other racing titles out there. |
| The graphics and framerates are oustanding, Criterion does an awesome job of squeezing so much out of the hardware. |
| With the online mode (online races are great fun) there is plenty of longevity, but even if you don't care for playing online there is still plenty of racing to be done offline to keep you occupied. |
| My only complaint here is that the navigation around the menu of available races is a bit awkward. Aside from that the presentation of Burnout Revenge is worthy of a high score (hence the 9.1). |
| The soundtrack accompanies the gameplay perfectly, something that can't always be said for EA's choice of track. |
| The legacy of the Burnout series continues with this latest release from Criterion. However, overall the edge is slightly with Burnout 3 : Takedown as the best Burnout in the series so far. |
